The ResourceXchange is a vehicle by which information on waste reduction, reuse, and recycling can be shared.

The acronym "ResourceXchange", as used in this document, includes the Rhode Island Resource and Recovery Corporation (RIRRC) - owner of the web site, and its partners, sponsors, and developers.

"Member" and "listing party" are defined as individuals or companies, their agents or representatives, who provide registration or listing data for storage and display on this web site.

Information provided through this service is supplied by the listing party and is believed to be reliable at the time of its posting. Availability of this information does not constitute an endorsement by ResourceXchange, nor does it guarantee a product or service, or its fitness for a particular purpose or application.

ResourceXchange shall not be held liable for any direct, special, incidental or consequential damages that arise directly, or indirectly, from the use of, or inability to use, information that the ResourceXchange database contains. It is the legal responsibility of the interested parties to determine whether a listed material is a hazardous material or hazardous waste, and to manage that material in accordance with all applicable hazardous waste regulations and laws.

ResourceXchange and exchange programs that contribute listings to this site are not responsible for determining what may constitute a hazardous material or hazardous waste, or what may create a hazardous situation.

Members of The ResourceXchange are prohibited from using the posting service for commercial gain. Members that submit postings cannot charge a fee for materials described in the listing. Product must be made available to the recipient at no charge. Any costs incurred to remove the available materials are the responsibility of the recipient.

This policy does not apply to any savings that a member realizes as a result of posting or receiving materials listed on the Exchange.

ResourceXchange will not negotiate terms of either party, nor take possession of any material any time.

ResourceXchange functions as content manager and for any reason may do the following:

1. Refuse to accept a company profile or listing
2. Remove a profile or listing
3. Edit information from the listing party if incorrect

In any dispute over content, ResourceXchange retains final discretionary rights.

Members have the following rights regarding submitted data:

1. Edit profile and listing information if incorrect
2. Update profile and listing information with more recent data
3. Remove profile and listings from the system

It is the responsibility of Members to report any activities or information suspected of being inaccurate or fraudulent. Members may do so by notifying the site administrator.
