If you reside in Rhode Island, then please visit the RI Resource Recovery Corporation web site at " www.freemarketri.org ". There you will find a consumer based listing service.


question mark I don't want to post anything. Should I register anyway?

Yes. Whether you're simply interested in the environment or seeking to reduce disposal or production costs, you should take the time to register with the ResourceXchange program. There is no fee involved and once registered, you receive the following additional member benefits:
  1. Post your own listings with the service
  2. Receive listings via the automated Finder Service
  3. Enhance the environmental image of your company
  4. Free listing in the "Membership" directory
  5. Access to select ResourceXchange mailings and information
ResourceXchange respects your privacy and does not distribute this information to 3rd parties.


question mark If I don't register, will I still be able to use this service?

Yes, but you will not be able to take full advantage of all this site has to offer. For example, you will be able to view listings, but not post your own.

How Do I

question mark How do I post a listing on this site?

To place a product listing on this site, you must do the following:
  1. Register with the program
  2. Click "Add New" at the bottom of any page
  3. Follow the on-line instructions
Note: Once your company and contact information are recorded in the ResourceXchange database, you will be able to access the "Listing" area by clicking the appropriate link at the bottom of each page. You will be asked for the user name and password that you entered during the registration process.


question mark How do I get a password to post listings?

Register with the program. You cannot post listings on this site unless you fill-in and submit the registration form.


question mark I can't remember my password. How do I recover it?

There are two ways in which you can retrieve your lost or forgotten password:
  1. Try the ResourceXchange "Password Recovery Service" or

EPA WasteWise Program

question mark What is the WasteWise Program?

WasteWise is a free, voluntary, EPA program through which organizations eliminate costly municipal solid waste and select industrial wastes, benefiting their bottom line and the environment. WasteWise is a flexible program that allows partners to design their own waste reduction programs tailored to their needs.

question mark Who Can Become a Wastewise Member?

All organizations within the United States may join the program. Large and small businesses from any industry sector are welcome to participate. Institutions, such as hospitals and universities, non-profits, and other organizations, as well as state, local, and tribal governments, are also eligible to participate in WasteWise.

question mark How Do I Join WasteWise?

You have two options. First, you can download the registration package which is in PDF format:
